BMMA expects accepted members to uphold standards of integrity, accuracy, professional respect, and responsible public positioning in relation to their work, their communications, and their association status.

These standards help maintain trust in the Association, strengthen the value of membership, and support a serious professional environment.
Professional Conduct
Members of BMMA are expected to conduct themselves in a manner consistent with professional responsibility and sound judgment.

This includes maintaining honesty in communication, avoiding misleading self-presentation, respecting other professionals and organizations, and acting in ways that support the credibility of the field and the Association.

BMMA membership is intended to reflect not only professional status, but also professional maturity.
Core Ethical Principles
The Association is guided by a core set of ethical and professional principles that shape member conduct and representation.

  • Professional Respect
Communication and conduct should reflect respect toward colleagues, organizations, clients, audiences, and the broader professional community.
